Learn All About Him!

It’s not often that such a beautiful, smart and loyal family dog inspires a beloved children’s book character.

Among Rupert’s talents are the many tricks he knows. He has modeled for a florist and a dog bandana company.

Rupert is an obedient guard dog and great family pet.

He enjoys swimming, hiking, playing fetch, especially with sticks, and fond of shredding and playing ball with Florida coconuts. He’s been known to chase squirrels and iguanas as well.

Rupert’s favorite treats are…let’s just say he loves everything except celery! Carrots and Puppucinos are high on his top list.

This book teaches about diversity, adoption, finding love and the importance of providing a home for rescue (shelter) animals.
